Mac Users – Using the Remote Desktop Client

Mac users can easily enjoy AdSystem with the help of the remote desktop client. The process is a little different than if using a PC but can be easily accomplished in a few steps.

How To Access AdSystem

Step 1: Install the remote desktop client from the app store. You will first need to install the remote desktop client from the Apple store. It is a free download located here. Note that the remote desktop is an add-on item for Macs, whereas it is built-in on a Windows PC; that is why this additional download is required. You will find the correct download for your operating system at the online Apple store; it is not a Datafest product. Your onsite IT or a Mac-savvy user may be able to show you how to set up the remote desktop if needed.

Step 2: Use the credentials provided to you by our support staff to log in to our server. You will receive a PC name, your username, and then your password. Note that in the example video at the end of this post, an IP address is used in the PC name field. Instead of using an IP address, you should enter the provided PC name in a company.adsystemonline.com format.

Step 3: After successful login to our server, you will see the AdSystem icon. Click on it to open it up then again use the provided username and password to log in. You now have access to AdSystem.
